The Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership) is a Co-funded Partnership project supported within the Horizon Europe Program. The objective is to implement Research and Development (R&D) and innovation projects that contribute to the clean energy transition process across Europe. In this context, supported projects will be financed by national funding agencies after being evaluated by an international expert panel.
CETPartnership Joint Call 2024 was launched on 19 September 2024 as the second annual co-funded call under this partnership with the participation more than 40 regional and local funding agencies from 30 different countries, including TÜBİTAK.
To cover different topics and RDI types, the Call is structured into diverse Call Modules, aimed at different energy technologies and/or systems as well as both research and innovation-oriented approaches on different Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), complementing and completing each other. These call modules are:
CM2024-01 Energy data spaces and interoperability
CM2024-02 Energy system flexibility: renewables production, storage and system integration
CM2024-03A-B Advanced renewable energy (RE) technologies for power production (ROA &IOA)
CM2024-04 Carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS)
CM2024-05 Hydrogen and renewable fuels
CM2024-06 Heating and cooling technologies
CM2024-07 Geothermal energy technologies
CM2024-08 Integrated regional energy systems
CM2024-09 Integrated industrial energy systems
CM2024-10 Clean energy integration in the built environment

For a proposal to be considered for selection, at least three independent legal entities (i.e. at least one Coordinator and two other Beneficiary Partners) must have been deemed eligible by relevant Funding Organisations from at least three different countries participating in the Call, according to their national/regional requirements. Of these three entities, at least two must be from EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries such as Türkiye.
All Project Consortium Partners are encouraged to carefully check all eligibility criteria and requirements. Different Call Modules and different Funding Agencies may support different types of entities, TRLs, etc.
The first stage of international project proposals (pre-proposal) will close on 21 November 2024 (14:00 CET). For Turkish researchers, the deadline for the first stage of national applications is set for 29 November 2024, at 17:00 Turkish Standard Time (TSI). Consortia that receive a positive evaluation in the first stage pre-proposal will be invited to proceed to the second stage (full proposal).
For CETPartnership 2024 Joint Call, organizations from Türkiye will be supported by the rules of the TÜBİTAK - 1071 Support Program for Increasing the Capacity to Benefit from International Research Funds and Participation in International R&D Collaborations. Opening: 19 September 2024
Deadline for submission: 21 November 2024, 14:00 CET
The deadline for the first stage of national applications and e-signature for Turkish researchers through the TÜBİTAK Project Application System (PBS): 29 November 2024 (17:00 TSI)
The second stage of international project proposals (full proposal)
Deadline for full proposal submission: 02 April 2025, 14:00 CET
Funding decision communicated: July-August 2024
The deadline for the second stage national application, to be carried out through TÜBİTAK PBS for projects with positive results in the international evaluation of the second stage, will be announced by TÜBİTAK to the relevant parties at a later date.
Projects start: September-December 2025
